Pleasure leads to preferences or pre-references, which lead to always wanting to be somewhere else, never being fully here now. How does a feelingfull person find a way out of the wheel of repetition?

Simply if you feel insecure with the idea of DIYacupuncture then dont do it

Please do not attempt DIYacupuncture if you are under 18, or an idiot, ... more important maybe if you really dont trust your own self - then experiments will lead to failure - and another form of healing is absolutely necessary

however for people who ARE self destructive and resentful of warnings - then how can I advise? Even the self destructive must live experimentally ... then at least they are open to chance and change ...

Do NOT use long needles - use so called ear needles ... longer needles could puncture inner organs ...

If you put needles into a blood vessel it will bleed - and near to the eyes I gave myself a black eye for a few days

If you leave needles stuck in for an hour or more then you'll probably get little lumps which last for a couple of days

There is a split second "pain" when you put them in - I mean its hardly pain - ít is a pricking sensation which any normal human being would simply be aware of - if after 5 seconds there is still pain or after 20 seconds it feels uncomfortable - or if you feel uneasy with it - then take it out - I get this in perhaps1 in 200 needles - trust your feelings

please dont experiment unless you feel confident but not over confident

Release points

There seem to be some minor side effects from using central points too often and ignoring the outer release points (in hands feet lower leg ears crown of head) but this is nothing to be scared of ... do it if you want without release points and experience the effects first

Acupuncture is not something that can be done by someone who does not have a great deal of training. On the other hand, it is not really a dangerous thing. If the needles used are at least sterile, and the insertion points are clean, there is not a lot of harm that can be done by an amateur. There is not a lot of good that can be done either.

Before a trained and acupuncturist begins to work on a patient, they should practice on themselves 20 times to be sure their treatment is precise and pain-free.
