SHORT OF TIME?
When the market started, time was measured by the moon : 7x4 seemed a sensible way to divide the month and so we agreed to meet on wednesdays to barter, and sundays to pray .... now the markets measure our time in nano seconds ... |
so i support the occupy movement and feel the financial situation goes hand in hand with the acceleration of time units. I believe the common man does not want to worry about money, he works he budgets and he gets by, but i do think he would like more time, maybe this is a way through to popular understanding.
but its not so much the financial/time aspect of OCCUPY which interests me - it is the feelinglessness of the market - its so cold and its getting colder because any public figure who shows feelings in public is persecuted by the newspapers .. and these are even feelings of sadness - its not just anger its ALL feelings, except the "have a good joke feelings" - even musicians, artists, actors, cant cry in public in the everyday modern world,... except as part of their art-work and as part of the fantasy world. |
