at Home in the Foam
(the Bath Rap)

Well, the world was new and things went blub
- there was a sound all around like a flood
there was nothing but froth, nothing but broth
- and God was sitting in a big bath tub

and he laughed ... da da da daaaa da
he looked pleased ... da da da daaaa da

well the world was round but instead of dry ground
- there was God in a tub and he paddled round
well the soap was sudding and the bath was flooding
- and God just smiled and said "that's good"

and he laughed ... da da da daaaa da paddled round the bath
he looked pleased ... da da da daaaa da ruler of the seas

There was a sound like a trumpet when you pump it
- it was way on high man hark
it was his rubber duck he was blowing up
- he'd been playing with the rubber shark

He blew a bubble he wasn't troubled
- he was at home in the foam
where he experimented with the unexpected
- and invented the unknown

he looked pleased ... the ruler of the seas
and the soap was sudding and the bath was flooding
and he laughed ... he paddled round the bath
and everything was blubbing and God was dubbing

and he laughed ... and he was grinning and nobody was sinning
he looked pleased ... and everything was blubbing and God was dubbing ...

he looked clean couldnt see for steam
and the world did spin and God did grin
he had a whole lot of good things going for him
and the fish were swimming and God was grinning

he looked pleased - rolled back his sleeves
and the soap did sud and he did scrub
and the fish did swim and he did grin

he started swimming - to a rasta rhythm
swimmin in circles_ soon he started surfing

he was amazed as he bathed he got right on down and raved

and he smiled - he did it all in style
and the frogs were burping and the soap was slurping

he looked around and he was pleased he got right on down and believed
he was amazed and he was saved and he sang - out loud - his praise

Then he invented a thing he called electric
but to test it - was the best bit - and the next bit - well you guessed it
there was sparks and a splash and whoops came a cry
then he leapt out the bath and he invented flying ...

(and whoops came a shout then he left us all alone to sort the fuses out)

and he laughed - and flew out the bath
- and the bees were buzzing and the birds were loving
he looked pleased at ease in the breeze
- and everything was flapping and God was rapping
